Another commission piece on its way to a new home to commemorate a family celebration.
This is what I love most about crafting, being able to make “personalised uniqueness” so the recipient knows there’s not another one like their piece anywhere.
Using pebbles, driftwood, seaglass and the odd purchase of crafting supplies too & of course not forgetting my beautiful stamp of our Dalmatian Harleigh who inspired our name & branding. It may seem very little in the grand scheme of how beach combing & crafting helps me mentally & physically too but seeing the smiles on my customers faces buying their pieces and reading their reviews is all the reassurance I need to know I’m doing ok.
Here’s a photo of our beautiful girl, one of my inspirations for keeping on going each day despite my health conditions and she’s also my best friend too.

Had a great day yesterday at Gilberdyke Gala, thank you so much to all my lovely customers and everyone who gave me such kind compliments on my work and for the extra follows and likes on my page it really helps to inspire me to keep doing what I enjoy with my little creations.
Took a commission too which I’m looking forward to starting and it was an absolute pleasure to meet all the children who came to my stall looking for my parrot (not a real one 😂) that Sam had given me to display for the treasure trail for the children to complete. 56 children came for ther stickers from me with their smiling face and beautiful manners such a credit to their parents. Chewbacca paid us a visit with lots of photos taken and hi 5’s given too.
See you again next year Gilberdyke War Memorial Hall for another successful Gala day.

All set up and gazebo well tethered down in this sneaky wind 💨
Laid all pieces down today so as to not have any unexpected breakages (hazard of outdoor stalls)
Call by and see me if you’re in the Gilberdyke area lots to see & do here today with fairground rides, bouncy castles, alpacas & food & more craft stalls too.

We’ll be there from 10am-4pm with lots of my designs, great ideas for birthdays, special occasions and Easter gifts too.

Join me today at Rothwell Sports Centre for a fun-filled day of shopping and meeting new people from 12-3pm! 🎨🛍️

Besides Dottie Designs there will be a variety of stalls from hot food to candles to home wear to cakes, coffee, jewellery, crochet, flowers, handmade cards, honey, fashion items and so much more!

A great way to buy those Mother’s Day and Easter gifts too, all the stall holders will have a lovely selection for you. What’s better than a handmade gift for a loved one 💖

We will be positioned in the small sports hall, past reception. Free parking available at the front of the centre.
