Throwback thursday! One of my first design projects at Igloobooks was this awesome range ... Over 100 Facts For Kids. Cool little pocket-sized books full of amazing pictures and weird and wonderful facts. I loved composing these covers!

I'm crazy pleased that this range of books I designed during my time at Igloobooks has been well received by tween trailblazers! The colour, structure and fun, sensitive illustrations by talented Andy Passchier help make a lot of information and guidance hugely accessible for young minds and hearts to explore.

RAA's latest branding project, for Gill Russell of Egeiro Naturals.
The brief was for a phoenix emblem, slightly spiritual, edgy and high end. The initial sketch concept was simplified and unified with classy bespoke typography, that included the O as mathematical symbol theta... a little nod to Gill's enthusiasm for mathematics!

Maria Prodromou wanted to update her branding for her established business Living Dialogue.

She is facilitator of dialogue and inquiry; a philosophy practitioner, teacher trainer, and education consultant based in London.

We borrowed the tree idea from Maria's website to signify growth, development and wisdom and combined the idea of silhouetted profiles of faces ... suggesting talking face to face. This struck a chord immediately with Maria and the logo developed from there.

Maria says: "Richard exceeded my expectations! He read between the lines and created a logo that captures and communicates the essence of my business. Brilliant and open communication throughout the process. I couldn't be happier with the result."

Tasty little logo for fabulous burlesque dancer . Developed for use on stickers which Joy artfully distributes at shows and events. The Insta tag pushes more visitors to her page.

Quick little logo design for Anthony Photography
Existing elements were brought together to create a simple, elegant graphic that's infinitely flexible ... used across the branding, from large banners to tiny embroidery.
Anthony says: "Richard is a pleasure to work with. Once we had fleshed out the original idea, he was able to produce the artwork to a very high standard. Thank you Richard for going that extra mile."

Check out the Play-A-Round Jungle & Ocean books we designed!
The brief from Igloo Books was for two carousel books. We added diecut cut-throughs, flaps and pressout models to create a 360-degree 3D play scene packed with amazing creatures. They also come with fact books so readers can find out all about life on the wild side.
