I know a beautiful little girl, who loves dinosaurs, so for Christmas I embroidered a T Rex on the back of a hoodie for her, then popped her name on the front. She absolutely loves it. I also made her baby brother a “my first Christmas sleep suit” which fitted him like a dream ❤️

I’m starting 2025 in a positive frame of mind! My bestie is helping me with lots of posts on marketplace showing off my work, I’ve decided that I need to make things all year, not just for Christmas, so there’s going to be roses for Valentine’s Day, as a beginning, then moving on to babies, weddings, Easter, and something very exciting and brand new to me!!! The run up to Christmas is in full swing. The angels that have been ordered are made, so I just need to see them together and then get them in the post to their new homes. Today I’m at Corncraft in Monks Eleigh, then a day on Sunday as I need to catch up on some cleaning and of course show my respect on Armistice Day.

On Wednesday I’m holding a craft fair in Bramford, at Cherryfields on Gippingstone Road, so if you’re free, why not pop along and have a look round, then have a cuppa and a slice of cake ?

I’ve been working on these for the past few days, really happy with how they turned out x

The best laid plans all went to pot last week !

I ended up with a stall at Newmarket mixed in with the local market traders on Saturday, what a lovely place and an amazing day. I met some wonderful people who lived in the town, including some of the gorgeous race horses! I will definitely be going back again next year to trade and also for a day out to have a look around, I’ve never been before and it was gorgeous!

Then, on Saturday evening I received an email offering me a space at a local high school in Woodbridge, as they’d had a cancellation, so at 9.30pm I was packing up my stock ready to trade again on Sunday! Again, a lovely day, catching up with some friends I hadn’t seen for a few months and also selling some stuff.

Today I’m off to London with my hubby for a trip and afternoon tea in Leicester Square, It’s my birthday on Friday , so I’m going to enjoy everything the week brings!

I will have a day in my sewing room to get some orders done either Wednesday or Thursday, so I will be in touch with you all by next weekend to see if you want things posted or collected

I’ve been trying out some different things as well as lace recently. I’ve put little Ellie and Edward the Elephant on some baby items. I’ve only taken pictures of the design, but these are sleep suits with long sleeves, age 0-3 or 3-6, but obviously I can make any size you would like. The back has been covered so there are no scratchy spots for the baby’s skin. These are £5 each plus postage at cost, and again, they can be made in any colour.

One of the most challenging things I make, I love her! If I’m brave enough to put my tree up this year, (I have 7 cats) then this beauty will be on top of it! If you’d like her to top yours too, then let me know. There’s an enormous amount of work in one of these and I have to charge £25 for her.

Life has been busy this last few months, and looking at my diary from the end of October, when the craft fairs start ramping up, I don’t think I’m going to get much spare time then either. So I’m going to be filling my page with lots of makes over the next few days, I have a few new things I’ve made this year, as well as my lace. Anything personalised is made to order of course, so I need to know ASAP if you would like anything. I will start off with a lovely Santa stocking that I’ve made for a friend. This can be made in colours of your choice and any name added. These are £12 each or £20 for two

Day one of many, showing one of my recent projects. These can be made in pretty much any colour and can be personalised with a name or other words of your choice. They are approximately 9” wide and 12” high, plenty of room for goodies and make an excellent decorative item if not used as a stocking. These are £15 and made to order
