October Styling 🤎

This weekend, I told the story behind how my posh pumpkins came about and how they were a seasonal favourite at my high st shop. It was the first time that my creatives had the chance to craft their own, and they absolutely loved every minute. Has they wondered how the arrangements held up, Miranda assured them all by sharing that her posh pumpkin lasted eight months that I'd made some years before! 🧡

Thank you all for being a part of this and also a big thank you to Clearview Farm Shop for providing a great selection of squashes/pumpkins.

Words from Rose 💚

"I attended an intro to floristry course in October 2026. I would highly recommend Lisa. She is so welcoming and the course is everything I needed to push myself to get going with floristry! I will definitely be back for more."

Thank you so much, Rose, and remember to reach out anytime, we're here to see you bloom. 🌿

Good coffee and great company.

This weekend, I found myself completely surrounded by tea drinkers! There's no judgement here, and in return, they graciously forgave me for not having the time to bake, even when I served up a factory-filmed carrot cake. (If you look closely enough, you will see my shameface)

But it got me thinking about authenticity.

At the school, we work exclusively with the real thing. Whether a stem is fresh, preserved, or dried, we never try to replicate or recreate nature. Instead, we hold it in our hands, intentionally positioning every branch and flower to respect its unique beauty.

No 'faking flowers', just honest, beautiful designs by everyone here at the dried autumn workshop 🍂

Lottie Loves 💚

I was so excited to welcome her back to the school after her first 1:1 session, and we wanted to lock in this next flower date before the British growing season wrapped up.

This weekend was all about mastering sustainable mechanics and building confidence with them. Our conversations flowed just as naturally as her gorgeous designs, focusing on her beautiful style, scale, and artistic freedom.

Traditional, rigid rules do have their place, but not on my watch.
