Hello everyone I am having a lovely time at the Crafters social at Jools Wools and Fabrics in Finedon. We all met up at 10am this morning and we are here until 3pm. It's a sewers day today next week we are joined by crocheters too. It's a lovely relaxing day where we chat laugh and help each other too if we can.

I have finished my dress but I'm not sure if it's me. I think it's a bit fuddy duddy for me. Even though I am of an age now I still like to feel good in what I wear and in this I don't.

Introduction to a sewing machine workshop this Friday 22nd May and Saturday 23rd May.
Let's get that sewing machine out of the dark and into the light. It's waiting for you to use it and enjoy it. Sewing is very therapeutic it's calming and brings loads of satisfaction and pride when you first see those stitches being formed and you have sewn two pieces of fabric together. A few places available on both days.

It's a Monday and I am busy sewing a dress today. I just wanted to pop on as well to remind you that Its the last crafters sewcial this week for a while.
Wednesday is fully booked but I do have a few spaces for Thursday left. I have loved running these workshops and I hope to do more a little later in the year. So why not come and join us on Thursday 7pm to 9pm all crafters welcome £12. Refreshments included along with chats and giggles 😃

Happy Sunday Morning everyone.
I went to the carboot and plant sale at Stanwick pocket park yesterday with my daughter Zoe and I so fell in love with their community gardens. It was such a beautiful place. So much care and love has been put into it. I did buy some plants some marigolds which were red. I can't remember ever seeing red marigolds before so I am looking forward to seeing how these look.
The three little pots are my tomato plants from Zoe .

Following on from my post the other week asking if people were interested in learning how to use their sewing machine. If so would they prefer a weekend or weekday workshop.
I had the answers and it seems people would like both so I have booked studio 1 Scribble Studio for Friday 22nd May 10am to 1pm and Saturday May 23rd 10am to 1pm.
Their are only 4 places available on each workshop so if you would like to join me please let me know asap. Saturday is already looking busy so get right to it.
Everything is included except for a sewing machine. Please bring your own if it is in good working order or hire one from me for £5 per workshop. Only four machines available.

On Saturday my friend Lisa and I went to Out of Town crafts to learn decoupage. The workshop was run by Sam from The Crafty Corner with Sweetpeas & Lace. We has a super time and learnt so much from Sam.
She was so informative and guided us through the process so we knew the reasons we did what we did.
Everything was included which made it perfect.
We had a choice of making up to three boxes so here are some photos of how we all did.
The workshop cost £15.
