✨ Touch of Glass – It’s a Wrap ✨

Tonight marked the end of our 6 week copper foiled stained glass course with C.L.A.S.P, and what a lovely journey it has been
Everyone was so eager to learn and get creative that many managed to complete more than one piece throughout the course – a real reflection of how much confidence and skill developed over the weeks ✨

I’ve truly enjoyed getting to know these lovely ladies, watching friendships form, creativity shine and confidence grow with every session. Everyone left tonight feeling happy, proud and accomplished with the beautiful pieces they created

A huge thank you again to Stuart and Ian, who were a great support throughout the sessions – helping with prep, clean up and encouragement along the way 🙌

The course will be running again in the coming months (date still to be confirmed). There are already people on the waiting list from this course and spaces will be limited, so keep an eye on both my page and the C.L.A.S.P page for future updates ✨
I’m already looking forward to seeing some future stained glass creations from the group 💛

Second last week of Touch of Glass with C.L.A.S.P ✨
Everyone is now in full swing and it’s amazing to see so many almost finished pieces coming together. The creativity, attention to detail and confidence in the room has grown so much over the weeks.
The only thing about groups like this… is they have to come to an end. Just as everyone is getting comfortable, building connections and really starting to bond, we’re nearly at the finish line.
It’s been so lovely getting to know each and every one of you, and to watch your unique creative abilities shine. There’s been so much learning, support and encouragement between the group – exactly what it’s all about 🤍
And it’s not quite goodbye… watch this space, there will be another course coming very soon 👀✨

Week 4 of Touch of Glass with C.L.A.S.P and everyone is now in full swing ✨

Such a lovely, friendly atmosphere in the room, with people really starting to relax, connect and build friendships along the way. It’s been amazing to watch the confidence grow each week.
We’re now onto almost finished pieces (which are looking incredible!), and some have even had time to start a second piece – a real sign of how well everyone has picked up the learning.
I’m so looking forward to these last two weeks, seeing the final results come together and those proud faces at the end 🤍

✨A Touch of Glass with C.L.A.S.P✨

This week in our glass class with the over 50’s group at C.L.A.S.P, we made a lovely shift from practice into working with coloured stained glass and beginning our final pieces.

All that time spent learning the basics has really paid off - confidence is growing, and it’s been amazing to see everyone start using their creative minds to choose contrasting colours, textures and shapes.

There’s something magical about watching each piece take on its own personality as the group brings their ideas to life. The progress this week has been incredible, and I’m so impressed with how quickly everyone has picked up the learning - it really shows how much they’re enjoying it.

Such a lovely, supportive atmosphere and thank you once again to Ian and Stuart for their continued support in the sessions, it makes all the difference.

I can’t wait to see how all the final pieces come together over the next few sessions.

✨ A Touch of Glass – C.L.A.S.P Week 2 ✨

Tonight we took the next step on our glass journey—moving from practising cutting to learning copper foiling and soldering
There was such a lovely atmosphere in the room… a real mix of focus, learning, a few challenges and plenty of laughs along the way 😊
It’s amazing to see everyone growing in confidence already, trying something new and supporting each other through the process ✨
A big thank you to Ian and Stuart for their support tonight—it really makes a difference having that extra pair of hands and encouragement 🙌
We’re building the foundations just now, and there will be even more colour and design to come in the next few weeks when we move on to coloured stained glass 🎨
Can’t wait to see how everyone’s pieces start to come together 💛
