While I’m making crochet jumper, here is the finished one that I made recently. Was waiting for bright day to take picture when I have time.
This is granny square hexagon cardigan, I had to much fun making it and now its washed, photographed I can’t wait to wear it 😊

Well took a tangential turn from Tunisian scarf to granny jumper. I was enjoying but scarf was getting really bulky which I wasn’t happy about.
I’m trying granny jumper by adding squares. I’m making closed granny squares for the main body but in double minds to how to join them - by sewing or my continuous join… will see :)

Happy New Year!

My first post after some time. Life has been on some other level which put me off with social media but crochet has been my go to therapy.

Made so many things but this time they were meditative and not to be rushed on some arbitrary timeline. Posting on insta didn’t help so I made a conscious decision to stop posting.

I’ll keep continue with the crochet pace and will start posting when I feel like 😊

I was meaning to use my scrap yarns and finish that pile once for all but I never got to use them all because of their varied length and weight. Specially those yarns that have been handled by my teenager daughter, it took me two hours to detangle the red yarn in the photo 🤦🏻‍♀️

Anyways, I’m on the mission to use them by making a yarn ball attaching all the scrap yarns. This is inspired by .makes, clearly not the way she beautifully created them. Wish me luck 🤩

Scrap yarn balls are ready and I am already started a project. I’m learning Tunisian crochet technique and thinking to make a long scarf - let’s see if I’m able to stick to scarf or change to some else. Balls weigh 200g so if I add another colour then project could be something bigger than scarf, who knows 😊

I made this baby blanket for my yoga teacher’s new baby arrival. She wanted something neutral or boho or earthy colour palette. I chose our yoga studio colour palette which I adore and is between earthy and boho colour tones.

Coming from India we only know one side of revolution, people fighting for freedom from British empire that caused chaos in the country and divided India into three countries.
November is a month to remember and honour service men and women who lost their lives in WW1. Until a year or so I came to know soldiers from before partitioned India who were Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs also fought world war as British soldiers. Lets not forget them.
I’ll will be wearing this poppy brooch to remember all the men and women who lost their lives during service.
