Vaughan Designs Classic British Lighting. Having previously been dealers in decorative antiques they fully appreciated the sort of lighting that was needed.

Michael and Lucy Vaughan founded Vaughan Ltd in 1983 to meet the demand in the interior design world for stylish and classical lighting made to the highest standards. The business has grown considerably in the last 20 years enabling Vaughan to expand from lighting into other decorative areas such as furniture, needlework and fabric which are now integral parts of the business. The overall aim has always been to manufacture the very best in terms of craftmanship, 'good taste' and authenticity. The rate of product innovation is high and large numbers of new products are introduced every year. Vaughan's London showroom at G1 Chelsea Harbour Design Centre displays our entire range in a realistic decorative setting. Our experienced sales team is led by Nicci Myatt and our opening hours are 9 - 5.30, Monday to Friday. The Vaughan warehouse in London is situated at Units 17 and 23 Carnwath Road Industrial Estate, London SW6 3HR and includes a small showroom in Unit 17 selling a selection of discontinued and damaged stock. The Vaughan New York showroom was opened in 1996 and is situated in central Manhattan in the D & D Building. The American business is headed up by Victoria de Lotbiniere who has been with Vaughan since 1987. Across the States, Vaughan is represented in many major cities (please see list of US showrooms under locations button). In Europe, Vaughan is represented by agents or directly through interior design companies. A full catalogue is available for purchase from any of our showrooms

The distinctive rectangular frame of the Sherwood Lantern draws the eye up in this whimsical sitting room.
At one with the botanical wallpaper, it features sculptural leaves that are individually cast in brass and intricately moulded, with pitted metalwork that adds character and texture.

Introducing the Autumn/Winter 2026 collection. A celebration of how fine materials shape light.

This season, Vaughan debuts chandeliers, lanterns, flush lights, and indoor and outdoor wall lights, inspired by centuries of design history.

Precise glasswork defines the offering. With blown glass, painted panels, ribbed shades and cut-glass pendants, the collection explores many forms to create pieces that diffuse,
reflect and decorate. True to Vaughan’s commitment to craft, traditional metalwork is the
complement: hand fabrication and silver soldering appear throughout.

A treasure trove of ceramics and antiques.

With solid brass decorative details and candlestick fittings, our Glass Globe Lanterns reflect the heritage quality of this dining room. The hand-blown glass brings a sense of lightness that beautifully balances the weight of the dark exposed wooden beams.

Artwork provides the colour cues for this inviting sitting room.

Echoing the painting’s earthy tones, the handcrafted earthenware Avebury Table Lamp is finished in a richly nuanced tortoiseshell glaze. Its timeless silhouette and distinctive finish make it an enduring addition to the room.

Everything has its place and purpose in this carefully curated sitting room.

Cushions add colour and comfort and our lighting doubles as art. The Anjou Chandelier brings an elegant sense of movement with its graceful silhouette, made all the more elaborate by decorative pressed-steel leaves adorning the arms and candle cups.

The Padworth Table Lamp introduces sculptural lines with its beautifully crafted earthenware body, while the Rococo Wall Light showcases an intricate acanthus leaf design, achieved through traditional lost-wax casting.
