Today I’m preparing some ebonised oak coasters for an online order…they’re looking a bit uneven due to the different grains in the wood so I’ll give these another coat of iron acetate later.

These are made to order from coasters blanks I make in advance so are usually shipped a few days after the order is placed.

I reopened my Etsy shop a little prematurely, and in that short time I sold a walnut chopping board which is now safely with its new owner.

I’m now up and running - take a look to see if there’s anything you’d like to buy.

These cherry chopping boards have been flattened and trimmed to size. One has a sapele and walnut accent, and the other has a sapele and maple accent.

I’ve also got some oak charcuterie/chopping boards that will be finished up soon.

Another oak bowl just off the lathe, this is after a couple of coats of Danish oil. This will be left to dry for at least 24 hrs, and then buffed to a nice sheen.

I enjoy making these chopping boards…going through the machining process and beginning to expose the natural grain patterns and colours in the wood.

These are made from oak, and have finger holds and small plastic feet on the base.

Some new chopping boards listed on my Etsy shop, this time a couple of walnut boards, an olive wood charcuterie board, and an oak cheese board.

I make different style chopping boards, charcuterie boards, wooden bowls and other wooden homeware, in my workshop in South West suburban London, Surrey. All made from quality hardwoods sourced from a timber supplier based in Guildford. I’m constantly adding to my stock, so if there’s something you’re looking for but don’t see it available on my Etsy shop, get in touch and I’ll see what I can do.

I take great pride in everything I make (I’m my own worst critic), I only list products that I’m 100% happy with. The finish has to be perfect before I’ll let someone buy it from me. I’m happy to say that I’ve had multiple 5 star reviews from clients who have bought from me online.
