After more than a year away, today I’m back at an outdoor market, at Kinross Agricultural Show. 💛

It feels a little surreal to be back. The past year has been a difficult one, with family illness and bereavement taking me away from markets and to some extent, Nanny Mafia.
I’m nervous, excited, and probably a little bit rusty, but more than anything, I’m looking forward to being back doing something I enjoy and seeing where this next chapter takes me.

Nanny Mafia is moving forward, but I’ll always carry the memories. Some chapters change, but they never leave us. ❤️

Here’s to new markets, new memories, familiar faces, and whatever comes next.
It’s good to be back. 🌿✨

Sad to see The Ladybird Tea Room in Alloa close today, but so looking forward to seeing The "new" Ladybird Tea Room open at their new premises.
Thank you so much Alison for all the amazing meals, high teas, coffees & cakes over the years and of course for supporting Nanny Mafia Handmade Goods , selling my fairies.
Hoping too, that today you had yet another succesful fundraiser for Strathcarron Hospice!

You may have noticed a lack of Nanny Mafia posts over the last wee while.

Sadly, Chaz my husband of 40 years, the steadying "Papa Mafia" passed away a few weeks back after a battle with COPD and cancer.

Huge thanks to all my friends, fellow crafters and customers for all their support through this incredibly difficult period. As a family we are all a bit lost, but thanks to lots and lots of memories we are trying to move forward and adapting to life without him.

Nanny Mafia crafting will restart again in a few weeks. 💔♥️💔
