Early planting wasn't successful with all the wet weather we had in early May so I re-prepped the beds and re-seeded.
Within days, the sprouting seedlings appeared. Plenty of time now for this batch of veggie seedlings to catch up.

Celebrated International Tea Day yesterday by baking an impromptu recipe for cakes to take over the road to my kind neighbour who has recently had a second fall after breaking her hip a few weeks ago.
These delicate bites of chocolate sponge release a sweetly surprising tang of Orange zest with every bite. The perfect excuse to raise a cup of tea and say hope you recover soon and thank you for being such a great neighbour.

Played R1 of 36 hole Scottish Women 's Amateur Tour 2026 at Carnoustie yesterday. Came off course to eat a well earned Traditional Sunday Roast Beef dinner at the rookery restaurant at Carnoustie Golf Club
