What a FANTASTIC first ever 🐉 Renaissance Festival 🐉
My dad and I had an absolute blast this weekend - for those of you who played Farkle you’ll be well acquainted with my father 🎲
We introduced the Board of Shame this weekend for the unlucky ones among you who rolled Nat 1s, but thank you for your facial additions to my board 🥹

Shout out to and Shot Bards for some incredible music, along with california and all the other musicians 🎶
🐉Amazing storytelling with Dragonella (thank you for helping me fix my gazebo in the wind) 🐉
And just general frivolities with all the other traders! Especially Eldritch Cartographer and Valadomi for getting me very inebriated all weekend 🍻

We returned to 🏰 🏰 this bank holiday and it was HOT 🔥☀️ - aside from being partially melted we had a lovely time 🧡

Next weekend we’re at 30th - 31st May, with my dad in tow in Sophie’s stead! He still hasn’t told me what he’s dressing up as so it will be a surprise (good or bad) to us all 💀

Absolutely over the moon that the map I made of Arturea and Vatra for the newly released book, Blood Bound, by Ellis Hunter was featured at the Waterstones Bristol book launch!
So thankful to have had my work displayed alongside this fantastic opening novel to a three part series - I can’t wait to get stuck in to reading my signed copy!

The citizens of World's Edge are excitedly chattering about their coming visit to our world. With only six weeks to go, skilled artisans and artificers are planning their stalls for the Miracle Market! Over the coming weeks, we'll highlight some of the village's magical traders... like Ancasta Cartography.

Ancasta Cartography creates both fantasy and non-fiction maps in an aged and old-world style, combining current-day places with a whimsical and fantasy style look. They also create astral wax rubbings of old medieval brass plaques found in churches all across Europe, alongside medieval dice games, armour-inspired cutlery, jewellery, and much more.

If you are also looking to create personalised maps for your DnD campaigns, or of places you love, Ancasta Cartography would love nothing more than to bring your ideas to life on parchment!

⚔️🎪What a smashing weekend we’ve had at our FIRST EVER medieval Festival! 🎪⚔️

🧡Thank you so much everyone who came and absolutely cleared our stock out - we were blown away by the support and couldn’t have asked for a better turn out.🧡

🏰 Huge thank you to / for having us, and giving us such a warm welcome to the medieval festival circuit - I don’t think I can touch sloe gin again for at least a year (dangerous stuff!) 🏰

🎪Big shout out also to all the other incredible traders, for also making us part of the team and sharing your invaluable trading experience with us to keep growing our stall each year! 🎪
