For “DON’T TRUST THIS DUNYA — THIS WORLD IS TEMPORARY”, I’d use a different Instagram strategy from A Is for Allah. That song was educational and save-driven; this one should be emotion-driven, highly shareable and instantly relatable.
Your uploaded photograph is actually a strong visual for this concept: you’re physically climbing out of a dark concrete environment toward light, which naturally communicates leaving distraction, pressure and worldly attachment behind. I would use this exact visual as the cover frame for a Reel, rather than relying on it only as a static post.
Current Instagram data supports that approach. Instagram says its three major ranking signals are watch time, likes and sends, with sends especially relevant to reaching people who do not already follow you. Current 2026 benchmark data also shows Reels have the strongest share rate, while single-image posts substantially trail Reels and carousels in engagement.
The strongest opening
Don't start the Reel with your logo or song title.
For the first 1–2 seconds, put this over the image/video:
ONE DAY, EVERYTHING YOU'RE CHASING WILL STAY HERE.
Then:
DON'T TRUST THIS DUNYA.
Then let the strongest part of the song hit.
That gives somebody who has never heard of AL-YAZ a reason to stop scrolling before you ask them to care about the artist or track.
Caption I would actually post
🌍 DON'T TRUST THIS DUNYA — THIS WORLD IS TEMPORARY.
One day, everything we're chasing here stays behind.
The money.
The status.
The attention.
The arguments.
The pressure to prove ourselves.
Even the things we thought we couldn't live without.
This dunya can make temporary things feel permanent.
But we're travellers here — not residents forever.
AL-YAZ — DON'T TRUST THIS DUNYA is an Islamic rap reminder about remembering Allah when the world gets loud, keeping the akhirah in sight and refusing to let possessions, status or people's opinions become the measure of your life.
Work. Build. Provide. Dream.
But don't let what is in your hand take possession of your heart.
