Part 2 of Rebuilding the Exterior of my Train 🚂 Carriage ✨

A simple change, but it really brings back its character and history ✨

✨ Part 1 of rebuilding the exterior of my train carriage 🚂 ✨

✅ The goal is to bring this carriage back to life while preserving its original character and charm.

✅The first step has been assessing the condition of the outer structure.

Years of wear, weather exposure, and rust have taken their toll, but nothing that can’t be tackled with patience and the right approach.

Stripping back damaged panels and treating corrosion is already revealing the solid framework beneath.

This stage is all about preparation—cleaning, repairing, and reinforcing the exterior before moving on to the finer details. It might not be the most glamorous part of the process, but it’s one of the most important.

A strong foundation ensures everything that follows will last.

There’s still a long road ahead, but seeing the transformation begin is incredibly rewarding.
