Today's the day! Launch day for Old Ledger, the latest collection from Craft Consortium Ltd

Tune into HobbyMaker at 4pm and 8pm where this beautiful collection will be launched by Carley Duff

For this card I used the 12x12 paper pad and cut out lots of tickets and cards from one of the pages and layered them up for that chaotic look to match the sentiment which was stamped then layered into gold mirror card from the essentials range

I had a bit of a theme when I was crafting with Old Ledger from Craft Consortium Ltd and it was definitely work or desk based.

I made a sticky note holder with a little pocket inside for that important ticket or receipt. I love that you can make something simple yet useful and decorative too. This would look great on your desk or popped into your bag to make an important note when you're out and about.

There are so many opportunities for creating with Old Ledger from Craft Consortium Ltd and I picked one of my favourite makes - a desk top organiser. I was shown how to make this by a crafty friend who is sadly no longer with us but I'm sure she'd be happy that her teachings are still being shared.

I've made several versions of this but I like the tall one, which you can add a calendar tab to, as well as having a home to the very handy sticky notes and a pen or pencil.

I kept my design simple, just using the papers matted on the beautiful new pearlescent card from the essentials range with a bit of inking round the edges - of course you could make it fancier but I just felt it needed to be a simpler design when it's on my desk.

Happy World Cardmaking Day!

It seems I have made a LOT of cards over the years - far too many to show you but I have picked a few from my vault!

I have been very lucky to be part of the Design Team at Craft Consortium for the past few years and it's definitely a brand I've always reached for, even before I was on the team! The candle card was my 'entry' for applying to join the team so it's a special one for me.

The first cards use stamps from another 2 of my 'go to' companies Visible Image and Pink Ink Designs

The latest collection from Craft Consortium Ltd will be launching on HobbyMaker on Wednesday 7th October at 4pm and 8pm.

It will be showcased by the lovely Carley Duff and is another collection which is perfect for mixing and matching with other products you may already have in your stash.

For this vintage feel tag I paired the beautiful papers with ephemera from The Collector, I then got a little bit inky as well as using some on the stamps and added a piece of twine to finish it off

I had great fun creating with Hocus Pocus designed by the amazing Helz Cuppleditch Illustration - there are so many little elements that I had to make my own potions! Yes I got carried away so there's a few photos to scroll through 🫣

The great thing about Craft Consortium Ltd is that their products are great for so many different projects from cards to home decor! I am predominantly a card maker but when inspiration hits I just go with the flow!

The bottles are all upcycled - I'm a sucker for a pretty bottle - so I raided my "saving for something" stash and found the perfect ones to add my special mixtures to.

The labels are all fussy cut from the paper pad and I tried to match the contents to the labels as best I could. Most of the contents are embellishments from my stash. I used sequins from other older collections as well as gems and chunky glitter to make them look bewitching.

I put them on a wooden base which I stamped using the ink and coffee stains stamp from the essentials range to create a spilt potion effect and finally I made my own potions book to go with it - more about that later 😉

Faeries are a beautiful collection of stamps by Craft Consortium and will be on a special show on Hobbymaker at 6pm on Monday 7th September.

If you missed these the first time round, just want to add to your collection or are looking for some inspiration then you need to tune in.

This is a favourite card of mine and as well as the faeries stamps I used green mirror card and a background paper from Craft Consortium's essentials range.
