That’s my contribution (Mrs Wreath Designs) to the below amazing charity

🦋 The Garden of Hope – 98 Butterflies, 98 Young Lives Remembered 🦋

Today, we are honoured to highlight the incredible work of Evelyn’s Butterfly Effect, a mental health and su***de prevention initiative founded in Grantham, Lincolnshire, by Jenni and Jack Swift in memory of their beloved daughter, Evelyn Gibson, who tragically died by su***de in 2022 at just 15 years old.

Created to carry forward Evelyn’s legacy of kindness, empathy and compassion, the charity is built on three important pillars:

💜 Promoting Kindness – Inspired by the butterfly effect theory, the charity encourages simple acts of kindness that can create powerful and lasting impacts on others.

💜 Sparking Dialogue – By encouraging open conversations about mental health, the charity aims to break the stigma surrounding mental health struggles and youth su***de.

💜 Community Installations – Through moving public art projects such as the Garden of Hope, the charity creates spaces for reflection, remembrance and awareness.

The Garden of Hope features 98 hand-painted steel butterflies, each representing a young life lost to su***de in Lincolnshire. Every butterfly tells a story, honours a life, and serves as a reminder of the importance of supporting one another and speaking openly about mental health.

🦋 The 98 butterflies will be on display in the Garden of Hope at Whisby Nature Park from 22nd June to 18th July, offering visitors a chance to reflect, remember, and support the important message that mental health matters.

These beautiful butterflies are a powerful symbol of hope, remembrance and the difference that kindness and understanding can make.

Please take a moment to visit, remember these young people, support those who may be struggling, and help spread the message that no one should suffer in silence.

🦋 Kindness matters.
🦋 Conversations matter.
🦋 Every life matters.
