Green can be such an awkward colour to mix for artists.

I know a lot of artists struggle with mixing their greens but, for me, it's a dream colour to mix.

This is my 'green' colour for the day - it's called 'pesto green'!! 😉😉🤪🤣🤣

*** WADDINGTON SUMMER FAIR ***

Debbie Davidge Creations Artist is delighted to be a part of the Waddington Summer Fair.

I shall be there on SATURDAY 20TH JUNE 2026 12pm to 5pm inside the Village Hall, near the Playing Fields.

I shall be bringing a selection of original artworks, printed and hand-painted cards and also the very popular 'Coming Home' art print canvas.

Had a fantastic evening at the Winthorpe & District W.I. on Wednesday 10th June giving a demonstration on watercolour poppies.

Such a warm welcome from them all.

There were over 25 members present. Very interactive, not afraid to ask questions, very interested in my approach to the demo.

They were very generous in buying many of my printed and hand-painted cards, along with notelets.

I even sold the 'demo' piece!

A much win/win on both sides.

June has been a busy month for me, with two exhibitions and a demonstration for an organisation near Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire.

This week, I shall be attending a Private Viewing for one of the Exhibitions.

I shall also be demonstrating, this week, a watercolour painting of poppies.

I have 45 minutes for the demo, plus I shall be answering questions during that time, talking through the process, sharing techniques and the process of turning an initial idea into a finished painting.

This morning, I had a practice run and kept to the 45 minutes - PHEW! See the photo stages and finished result. The mount size is 11" x 14".

I am delighted to say that 'The Frozen Path' has been accepted to be exhibited at the Elemental Exhibition at Harding House, Steep Hill, Lincoln. 8th to 28th June 2026.

The Exhibition is based on the exploration of air, earth, fire, water and spirit. (See Poster attached for details.)

This Exhibition is part of the Creative Lincs Art Trail. (Images attached) taking place between 26th, 27th and 28th June 2026.

The Frozen Path - where stillness settles, and the way forward lies quietly beneath the ice.
