Bruce Fine Papers

Bruce Fine Papers This means that no two batches of wallpaper are the same, providing you with a totally unique product.

Bruce Fine Papers is a small Lincoln based family-run business established in 1994, and is a leading manufacturer of traditional quality-made block-printed wallpapers. We specialise in block printed wallpaper, which is a complex process, unlike many production concepts, has not undergone advanced technological changes, so is completed solely by hand and monitored at every stage. Every piece of work that we do is made to order, and can be entirely custom coloured.

We’ve been working behind the scenes at BADA this week…

This weekend marks the first time BADA has come to the Midlands and the first time it’s ever been hosted outside of London since its foundation in 1918. A historic occasion which we are proud to be a part of.

So keep an eye out for our latest collaborations amongst the stands:

The Bruce Fine Papers x Notswolds collection at Stand 1 where Oakleaf takes centre stage in the fabulous Notswolds ‘Fired Clay’

And a heritage backdrop for John Hansord at Stand 37 featuring Legard Lace and Gesuiti in a sophisticated ‘Renaissance’ grey.

Can you wallpaper a shed?

Not the usual question we get here at Bruce Fine Papers, but as a small, family-run business we like to tackle challenges head on, and between us, somehow come up with a solution to make it happen.

As usual this meant Alex had to try his hand at carpentry, designing a new wallpapered interior to slot inside…sounds easy right?

Giant poppies? Made out of Wallpaper?

Here at Bruce Fine Papers our team loves an excuse to get creative with our wallpapers, so when we were invited to make a Chelsea Flower Show inspired window display for the Simon Playle team we knew we needed to go BIG. Naturally, that meant taking the floral elements from one of our latest wallpaper designs—Ostrich Feather—and using our ‘Small Prints’ patterns to bring them to supersized reality. 🌹🌸

If you find yourselves in the Chelsea area then be sure to check it out! Our window display will be up for the whole month of May and you just might find our recently launched ‘Ostrich Feather’ lurking inside in five brand new colourways to take away too.

You can find the Simon Playle Showroom at 15 Langton Street, London, SW10 0JL. And don’t forget to tag us in your visit! 🏠

Something big has just arrived at Simon Playle…

For the whole month of May we have taken over Simon’s window in celebration of the upcoming Chelsea Flower Show 🌹🌻

But that’s not all, with this window the launch of the five new colourways for one of our latest wallpaper designs, which may have lent a hand for the inspiration…

Window reveal coming soon, but in the meantime head on down to the showroom to check it out!

The Simon Playle Showroom is found at 15 Langton Street, London, SW10 0JL 🏠

New Ostrich Feather incoming…

Re-imagined in 5 brand new colourways, this could be one of our prettiest designs, it’s a delicate cascade of ostrich feathers, and an outstanding example of Art Nouveau.
