We are a small UK family business. We have our own range of quality veg, herb and flower seeds, as well as the largest range of growing kits in the UK.

We are also experts on many types of gardening including strawbale gardening. I have been experimenting with strawbale gardening for some years now. It is a fantastic way to grow tasty vegetables in straw. What's more you do not necessarily need soil so you can strawbale garden almost any where. Because there are very few sharp tools needed it is great for children. And due to the height of the strawbales it is ideal for people with mobility issues. I have made a instructional DVD on this fascinating method. Available at http://strawbaleveg.co.uk/.../strawbaleveg-garden-the.../

Now is the ideal time to grab a bargain pollytunell. There are some exellent suppliers in the UK. Unfortunately these are way above the purse of some people. The green budget tunnels come in for a lot of flack but, if put up correctly they can last for years and certainly give value for money. I must stress again, they must be put up correctly. My son and I have put up a great many of them, and they do not budge. We put together a video showing how we do it. Please take a look and I hope that you find it interesting and informative. I would appreciate it if you liked and subscribed to our channel. Link in comments. Thanks Simon.

The most popular strawbale system. Giving all round access to manage the crops. On the poles you would have tomatoes/beans. On the strawbales, a lettuce mix, cabbage and marrows. Three bales are the norm. But I have seen 8-10-12 bales.

It is only October. But consider your onion sets for next year. They sell our super fast. Our bulbs are produced in the UK to ensure that they are ideally suited to UK growing conditions. All bulbs supplied are size 14/21 subject to adequate availability. Most set bulbs are lifted in the early Autumn but need to dry and mature in order to achieve the best results. Plus we are generally cheaper than the big boys.

We therefore deliver our bulbs from mid-March onwards.

Order now and avoid disappointment. https://www.strawbaleveg.co.uk/simons-seeds

Hello. First of all, let me say that I am in no way getting any reward for this review. It is purely to let people know my personal experiences. Ok. Strimmers. Elecrtic. I have had many. By leaps and bounds the best I have found is the Ryobi Easy Edge. It is very easy to use, and it will deal with almost anything. Good battery life and not too heavy. I have learned that the best wire to use is the blue cord from B and Q. I am very happy with it.

Marks out of 5! ###xx

Hello. I am going to post this again, simply because I feel we have some rough weather on the way. Many of you will be thinking about buying a polytunnel. There are some exellent companies in the UK who build superb tunells. But, they are not cheap. Many people opt for the budget tunells. These are fine, provided they are put up properly. My son and I have put up many and they do not budge. We have shot a video showing you just how to do it. I do hope you find it useful. Please would you also share this. Thanks Simon.
