Introducing, the reception room of our Putney Project 🏡

You can see from the before shots, the living room started very plain, and the client came to us with a very simple brief: bring the colour and fun!

They had a very specific wallpaper that they absolutely loved, so I designed everything around that - the furniture, the finishings, rugs, decorations, everything.

I absolutely love how this turned out, and it’s bitter sweet ended because as much as we loved working on it, I’ll be sad that it’s over!

The details that get skipped in the planning stage are almost always the ones you notice every day. These are the questions we’re asking to make sure that doesn’t happen:

1. Where will the kids do their homework?

Of course it’s important that the space looks beautiful, but it’s even more important that it’s practical for you to live in

2. Where will they store the cleaning products?

Makeup products? School bags? In general, how are we going to optimise the space for day-to-day storage

3. How will each room be used?

Knowing how the room will be used - whether it’s your space for hosting, winding down or personal relaxation, we want to focus on the details that can bring the right feelings to the forefront.

4. Are they on the same page?

We often run into partners who don’t have a completely aligned vision, and we want to make sure that everyone loves the final result. We’re here to make sure that happens from the start.

Can’t believe it’s nearly the end of August! So it feels like time for a re-introduction as there’s a few new people here...

I’m Marina and I spent years working in luxury hotels, health spas, residential properties, working alongside architects on some of the most technically demanding projects in the industry. From junior designer to senior level, I spent years learning how exceptional spaces are created.

Then, four years ago, I stepped away from my role as an in-house designer and took the leap to start my own business.

Since then, we’ve worked on 20+ projects across the UK and the USA, grown an audienc of over 10k here on instagram and I’m still just as passionate about it as I was on day 1!
