For this colour consultancy, my client wanted a space her son could grow into something imaginative but still stylish.

We paired Little Greene’s Atomic Animal Kingdom wallpaper with bold yellow and soft pink panelling to create contrast and warmth, then layered in Kigali inspired furniture and accessories to add texture and character.

The result? A joyful, design led children’s bedroom that feels creative, confident and completely unique.

These brown red tones are very popular at the moment, as people are looking for adding warmth to
their spaces. This colour is Arras 316 from Little Greene.

I also love how effective the drenching is in this space, it makes it very seamless and clean. What will also be nice are the bronze finishes that will be added to the space.

Having some fun recently with creating some new spring like moodboards for an event that I will be doing in a couple of weeks time.

Lots of people fear that if they go for a wallpaper, that they can’t bring in other colours, patterns and textures and that certainly isn’t the case!

Hopefully you are enjoying some sunshine today, and with sunshine, we have beautiful sunsets. It’s important when you are picking out a wall colour for your room scheme to bear in mind what your direction of facing is. (North, South, East & West).

Here are some tips to bear in mind when you are planning your colour for a west facing room (as well as some colour suggestions)

Colour is so important when it comes to building a scheme, and like in this photo, it is also about toning and making sure that the colours fit cohesively together.

Just because you have some colour in a cushion, or some curtains, it doesn’t mean you can’t also go for other colours that are completely different to what you have, you just have to make sure they have a similar undertone.

These are two of my favourite colours to pair with a cool blue 🎨

INTRODUCING ✨

Set up by me, Stephanie, Lime Grove Interiors was born from my experience of running two shops selling other gift ware products that we hand design ourselves and I noticed when talking with customers that they wanted help when it came to colour and pattern in their homes as they didn’t have the confidence to put something together, or they just wanted to talk it through with someone.

I can help everyone from just a simple colour consultancy with paint colours, all the way to full room schemes as well as fabrics etc.
