An English late medieval silver-gilt iconographic ring, dating to the 15th century.

The hoop widens at the front into three engraved panels set between raised ridges. Each panel bears a saintly figure: most likely St Christopher, the Madonna and Child and St Barbara.

UK size U / US 10.

Comparable medieval iconographic rings can be found in the Victoria and Albert Museum (M.245-1962) and the British Museum (1891,1124.1).
