My fabulous friend Emily Brand has written/drawn a book about Beckenham Place Park. It’s super-lovely and a perfect gift for anyone who knows the area like she does. We’re launching it Corbett Community Library as part of the Gallery SE6 art wall on the 9th July. Come to the library for a drink and ogle the beautiful artworks.

I went to yesterday for the second session of ’s bee skep workshop. After mixing a pile of clay with wool and hay we covered our bramble frames and left the little fellas to dry. They’ll come out for the midsummer festival on the 20th June, then hopefully they’ll house some bees!
