THE JESTER 🤡
This is a brand mascot character I have created for our friends at The Jester’s main appearance will be on Thank You – cards which this brand will send out with the purchases made from their Etsy shop.
I thought instead of just giving you the final illustration, I break it down for you how did I designed
this fun little character step by step.

◻️Just an atmospheric moodboard we created as part of a project, for a client who was looking for a modern, organic & minimal style bedroom design... where they could relax and unwind. Truly a sanctuary of their own🪷

◻️To create an organic modern look, neutral tones and a sage green shade were used to create a calming zen atmosphere. Inspiration was taken from Japanese design and Spas (as the main purpose of a spa is to comfort and make you feel relaxed). Because of that the colour scheme sticks to earthy tones and lots of natural textures were used throughout.

◻️The vibes we were trying to create were:
Organic, Scandinavian, Rustic, Modern, Minimal, Zen, Tranquility

We have designed this little brand icon earlier this year for a Cornwall-based online box office service.🎟️
It was quite a challenge, but great fun to come up with a unique, yet simple visual concept for this one!

◽Some things to remember when designing & decorating a modern farmhouse inspired interior are always to balance how much vintage, rustic furniture you have, with the snazzy newer pieces🛋️.

◽And you don’t have to go overboard and place a HUUUGE wagon wheel or farming equipment on every wall😅🚜🧑‍🌾.

◽For example, when it comes to the structural details of the house itself: if you own an authentic, rustic farmhouse, go for extra contemporary furniture to counterbalance.🪞💡

◽Baskets, a mid century armchair, rustic coffee table, old patterned rug & a modern chandelier, are just a few decor pieces that can instantly give you the look you're after🏠.

Little Conkers🦔 is a sub-brand within focusing on educational content aimed at children & young adults. Its main purpose is to give children of all ages a place to escape to and find passion and joy in wildlife, and give those that are perhaps stronger outside the classroom a chance to thrive.
We had the opportunity to create the branding for this fantastic initiative!🍂
