Meet .atelier - the designer and maker championing the endangered heritage craft of kilt making.

Andrea is passionate about honouring the tradition of kilt making whilst using sustainable materials. She incorporates deadstock and vintage fabrics alongside classic tartans and heritage tweeds ‘in a slow and sustainable means of making that upholds the traditional hand stitched method’.

We talk to Andrea about how a cherished heirloom started her love of kilts, championing the functional, everyday use of the kilt, her most touching custom kilt to date and much more.
