Travel art. The intense, vibrant energy of India.
​Rich marigold yellows, deep terracotta reds, and fiery saffron spices of an Indian spice market, and vivid textiles seen in Rajasthan.
​The intricate, organic linework and patterned pockets also echoing traditional Indian art forms, like the repetitive, nature-inspired motifs found in Madhubani paintings or the detailed, fluid layouts of block-printed textiles, but filtered through a completely fresh, modern abstract lens. An emotional map of the feeling of being in India—the heat, the density, and the layers of color.
