Doodling is how we start drawing as kids, it is full of fun, imagination and less pressure to create something 'perfect'.
My intention is to bring back that feeling of childhood - in a very accessible way, you don't need to be 'good' at drawing to do so.
We will begin with a quick introduction to me as an artist, my inspirations, developing my style and explaining what we are doing during the session and what materials we will be using. (Pens, paper, and possibly small canvases)
Followed by a quickfire doodle - fill up a page with as many doodles as possible without planning or worrying what it will look like (5-10 mins on this)
We will discuss how we feel about the doodling and begin thinking about our 'final' piece.
All attendees will then receive their canvases, and begin working on a piece of art to take home, either in black and white or full colour - I will go around, interacting and giving feedback or tips/advice.
A doodle artist with an overactive imagination, Frankie was first inspired from a childhood of watching cartoons and playing video games. Since then she has developed a distinctive 'doodle' style full of cartoons, humour and lots of fun - the epitome of joy. Working mostly using acrylic paint markers, as well as paints, spray and digitally. She has painted globally with clients from Vodafone to the Teletubbies and now works full time as an artist.
