About the artist:
Lancashire born artist Stuart had an early introduction to art as a child under the tuition of his late father. Later in life, his extensive travels around the world and keen interest in interior furnishings and design have become a prominent driver for the abstract art that he produces today. Stuart now resides in St Albans with his family and more recently moved away from his p

revious work in the city to pursue his passion for art. Stuart enjoys abstract art, particularly in the way that the abstraction from reality can be at many levels, thus providing the viewer with varying degrees of freedom to interpret the piece. He likes art to be in the home or workplace, either as a feature or to accentuate the interior landscape. In other words, no rules. This means that each artwork is a personal journey for him, usually involving a mixed degree of pleasure, madness, frustration and euphoria along the way. Stuart is happy to discuss requests on colour preference, style and size in order to produce artwork that compliments a specific decor.
