Mixed media artwork, ceramics and paintings, based in Greenwich, London, U.K. Harper Bizarre Art aka Sarah J Harper is a multidisciplinary artist who produces contemporary art in a variety of mediums. With a passion for thought-provoking artwork, her work can be available as commissions on request and some pieces are available

to purchase in her online shop. Sarah also creates money art that often has a political or social message. Her work includes the ‘Plate-itudes’ range of selected words and quotations on vintage crockery, and ‘Sweary Landscapes’, ‘Sweary Birds’, ‘Sweary Cats’ and ‘Sweary Dogs’ which include profanity on original paintings. She has also created a variety of ceramics and other hand crafted pieces that celebrate her local area of Plumstead, SE18. Sarah’s artwork has featured in a number of exhibitions internationally, and can be found in many publications too.

Art as a form of wellbeing therapy encourages self-expression, and it aims to reduce distress. Our ancestors worked with clay, it’s a primitive material, and getting hands on with it can have a positive effect on the brain, and offers you the opportunity to take some time out of your usual routine and do something calming.
Join me for freestyle clay for wellbeing workshops in a beautiful venue, right next to the Woolwich Pier in the Royal Arsenal.

Join me on the first Friday each month for my monthly Sip and Paint session at the fabulous House of Denna. It’s the original event of its kind in Woolwich, and of course the best! No experience necessary, let me give you a sense of joy, fun and wellbeing through art.
Spaces are very limited in this intimate unique venue. Every month we paint something different and you get to take home your artwork too. There’s even a glass of Prosecco on arrival included!

I’ll be taking part in the Plumstead Make Merry again, as a stall holder, sharing a pitch with the marvellous jewellery. It’s the longest running independent festival in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. The festival holds a very special place in my heart, it’s a fantastic community event, entirely organised by local volunteers.
So stick it in your calendar and support the hard working volunteers, performers and traders:
Saturday 6th June, from midday to 6pm. 🙂
