One of the most frequent questions we hear is how to match flatweave to your flooring, and in particular, what designs work well with traditional Victorian or Edwardian tiles.
When choosing a stair runner or hallway rug, it’s easy to focus solely on the design underfoot, but the surrounding floor plays an equally important role. This Sudbury Brick installation is a perfect example of acting with sensitivity towards traditional features. By drawing the red brick tone out of the existing tiles, neither the flooring or the stair runner are competing with each other, but rather working in harmony to create a unified and subtly striking scheme.
