My clients were thrilled with the Japandi minimalist virtual interior design bedroom project that I created for them. As a young couple settling into their first apartment, they wanted a peaceful, calming space to unwind after a busy day.

Through a detailed virtual consultation, I discovered that they desired a minimalist aesthetic with natural materials and muted colors inspired by Japanese and Scandinavian designs. Using this information, I crafted a Japandi design concept that seamlessly blended the two styles to form a harmonious and serene atmosphere in the bedroom.

The centerpiece of the design was a low platform bed made of natural wood, complemented with neutral-colored bedding to promote a soothing effect. I incorporated minimalistic side tables with sculptural lamps and fresh plants to add to the natural texture.

To create a warm and inviting backdrop, I painted the walls in a soft white tone, and large art pieces in muted earthy tones added depth and dimension to the space. The final design was presented to my clients through a virtual walk-through, allowing them to view the 3D rendering from various angles.

My clients were overjoyed with the result as the space was a serene and beautiful sanctuary that matched their vision perfectly. At Cayetana Designs, we pride ourselves on listening to our clients' needs and preferences to create personalized design concepts that fulfill their vision. Lenny Kravitz, the founder of Kravitz Design, transformed a former coffee plantation into his Brazil home and converted some of the 19th-century homes within the property into guest houses, a gym, a pool house, and a recording studio through renovations. He invited his artist friends to visit and contribute by painting murals on the walls, while he painted a sizeable triangular design one night to adorn one of the walls. In addition, Kravitz imbued the property with an island feel by blending Brazilian tiles with midcentury furnishings, vintage wall art, and a grand piano. Lenny likened decorating the space to making music, stating, "You have to play what you feel."
