I was looking on the VAA website for my insurance certificate as it happens and found the page 'Wall of Success', and there I am on page 5 with the photo below and comments for 23/4! I don't remember writing anything but must have, so it is really interesting to see what each year brings.
Last year (2025) has been busier due to extra church commitments which I love too, so thinking about where to put my energies in the next few months -reviewing everything this week. So I've just added 2025.
What would your priorities be?
2023 Achievement
Most notable achievement. I began the year being accepted by Art Profile as a tutor, and ended with being accepted into the Eye Exhibition at Mall Galleries in November 23 (photo below).
2024 Goals
Aspiration for 2024 and driving force behind it: to be in contact with galleries and art collectors, I have artwork ready to show. I am very aware of time too after a recent health issue.- May 2024
Later in November 2024 I was a finalist in the painting section of the the VIsual Art Visual Art Open2024
2025
Loved the exhibitions and sales, inlcuding at Bluewater with Under the Rainbow Events and in with the - both on my list to do. Had some lovely teaching gigs too - a lot of fun and wonderful work being done in art clubs around the south east. A highlight was to have work accepted into a school chapel in St Albans too.
In December I found myself the recipient of an award for abstract art from magazine, an off-shoot of the Warwickshire Advertiser too!
2026???????????
Any thoughts?
