Milano, Bergamo & A New Rhythm

After almost two weeks away from posting, here’s a little glimpse of our 1st of May weekend between Milano and Bergamo.

A few days of business talks, family time, long walks, beautiful streets and moments that reminded us how important it is to slow down and reconnect every now and then.

One of the reasons we chose Italy was the possibility of being closer to family, and seeing Baby A grow surrounded by these moments makes it all feel even more meaningful.

And Milan… it completely stole a piece of my heart.
The elegance, the energy, the fast pace — it reminded me so much of what I loved about London.

I still miss London, but with every passing day, a new version of myself is slowly coming to life here too.

Already looking forward to being back in Milano very soon.

Motherhood is the most beautiful contradiction I have ever lived.

It fills you while emptying you.
It breaks you apart just to rebuild you in ways you never imagined possible.
It asks for everything — your body, your mind, your patience, your sleep, your identity — and somehow, despite the exhaustion, you keep showing up with love in your hands.

Mothers are warriors, but not because we do it all perfectly.
We are warriors because we continue through the chaos, the guilt, the tenderness, the loneliness, the joy, the fear, and the endless transformations that motherhood brings.

There are days when I barely recognize the woman I used to be.
She feels distant now — softer in some ways, stronger in others. More fragile, yet more powerful than ever before. Motherhood turns you into someone completely new, someone constantly evolving between depletion and fulfillment.

And maybe that is the real beauty of it:
becoming a version of yourself you never expected, and learning to love her too.
Hoping that through all the contradictions, this new woman emerging is your truest and best version yet.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the women carrying worlds inside their hearts. 🤍

Orchids China at Kew Garden🌺🌸🐉🎏🦢🐴🏮

The Princess of Wales Conservatory at Kew Garden is celebrating 30 years of orchids with an ode to China’s culture, beauty, creativity and diversity.

During the exhibition you can find a dragon surrounded by orchids, 9Koi fishes suspended in the air giving you the impression of being part of a massive pond, Horses to celebrate the Chinese New Year, Pandas made out of natural plants residue collected from Kew grounds.
Overall an exceptional display of beauty and a perfect activity for these rainy afternoons.
The exhibition is available from the 7th of February till the 8th of May.
Cost 24 £ /adult or 32 £/ family

if you cannot find online spots look at the membership availability. You can always become a member and support the beautiful gardens while having the privilege to book different exhibitions in advance and by skipping the queue.

Also with the standard membership you can always invite a +1 at no additional cost.
