A highlight of 2025 was being asked to produce four original paintings for for their beautiful new Nightingale Suite (named after Vera Lynn’s song ‘A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square’).

I chose to paint nightingale birds on plane tree branches and loved every minute of it 🍃. I used watercolour paint as normal but with permanent markers which I’ve never done before (a slightly terrifying medium as no mistakes could be made 😂!).

After months of planning and having witnessed the redesign of the suite beautifully come together (after joining the interior design team at RFH) it was a special day hanging these up in the hotel ♥️

I was excited to be asked The William Morris Society and Museum to produce a painting of Kelmscott House, William Morris’s London home overlooking the Thames, not far away from where I live 🍃.

I have long admired William Morris’s work and it was a pleasure to have painted his home where he himself would have once painted. Now a museum, it’s well worth a visit as it houses an archive of his beautiful watercolour paintings and original designs.

Prints of my painting will soon be available to purchase in the museum shop ✨

On Sunday I hosted my first two watercolour painting workshops with Fulham Palace, in their magical greenhouse 🌷

I was over the 🌙 that so many of you wanted to come and that the events sold out. It was a fabulous and fun day painting tulips in Fulham Palace’s walled garden, one of the prettiest locations in London (in my view anyway🍃)

I was so impressed with everyone’s paintings - especially as several guests hadn’t painted before.

I loved every minute and look forward to the next ♥️. Stay tuned for more watercolour workshops later this year ♥️
