Reviews from a recent customer who ordered two signs with a fishy theme. So pleased she ordered the seahorse in the aqua colour, as opposed to the more popular navy, as it shows what spectacular effects can be achieved printing on our silver finish. We've had some super bespoke orders recently, and here's a few. A rose spray on a grey background on its way to Putney as a special gift. Cranberries for a customer in British Columbia. The dandelions went to Park City, Utah - who knew they were to be found across the pond? And a reminder of Scotland with thistles and heather for another US customer. We have a lot of designs now, and every so often I think about discontinuing some. Then lo and behold, we receive an order! So welcome reprieve for the bullfinch, toad, cockerel, pelican and plaice. Although I don't think I could ever find it in my heart to delete that last one ...

If you love steam engines, then one of the original and best has to be Stephenson's Rocket. You can have this stunning image as either a personalised house sign or as a plaque to hang on your wall. Based on a photo taken at the National Railway Museum in York and given a watercolour effect, it is printed on silver aluminium to make the metalwork gleam. Oh, and Father's Day is approaching, if you're short of a gift inspo, not that mothers wouldn't enjoy it too.

Spain or California? Well it's Studio City, close to Hollywood, and I'm not quite sure what gives the game away apart from a Californian vibe. Marc requested two signs with numbers 4 inches high for his property, as that's the height laid down by the Los Angeles Fire Department. Took a bit of jiggling but we got there in the end, with variations based on our Spanish pattern. "They look great," says Marc.

We’ve launched three new signs with a floral border – ok, berries for one – that have space for your house number in the centre, making a bold statement at your front door.
A first for Selene is larger signs in square shape with the arrival of the Daisy Wreath house number. Bursting with joy, the sign is available in sizes 20 x 20 cm square or 25 x 25 cm.
The Rose Wreath house number features a striking watercolour circlet of pink and red roses, and comes in a round shape, either 20 or 25 cm diameter.
And finally is the extension of our existing Blueberry sign with a pretty border in the round format, 20 or 25 cm diameter.
All the signs can be personalised with your house number or name, but please note there is less room than on many of our other designs. But we will always try our best to fit in all your wording and it’s surprising what can be done by reducing the size or changing the font!

We love 5 star reviews and here are a few recent ones. The snowdrop, only just launched; the seahorse, a perennial favourite; ditto the Mexican pattern; and finally a memorial plaque on aluminium that went to Australia.

With snow and ice covering much of country, is it too early to think about spring flowers? Not when it comes to daffodils!
