We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you! In the New Year, Muchmore Design will be moving to a new office in Fulham! This move marks a significant milestone for our business as we continue to grow in a vibrant new space. This month’s sustainable supplier is , the Brighton-based lighting brand known for their handcrafted fixtures made from recycled materials.

In our recent studio apartment renovation, we incorporated their marble effect and opal globe wall lights to draw the eye through the galley kitchen and into the living room.

Spark and Bell locally sources waste plastics from their workshop, homes, suppliers and local businesses, spending hours tinkering, tweaking and perfecting their methods of recycling soft plastic waste into beautiful lighting for interior design.

Not only do they add a timeless touch to any space, but they also support local craftsmanship and ethical production.

This kitchen is from our soon-to-be-completed Dulwich terrace renovation.

Here are the details we love:

1. The dark walnut island – This stunning feature flows into the high-level cupboards and recessed pizza oven, bringing richness and depth.

2. The brown quartz worktop – It perfectly complements the walnut wood, adding warmth to the kitchen.

3. The downdraft extractor – This keeps the kitchen uncluttered and provides a clear line of sight to the garden.

4. No pendant lighting over the island – We opted for one over the dining table instead, maintaining an open and spacious feel.

Our sustainable supplier of the month is the fantastic , creators of timber terrazzo.

Pictured here is the Foresso worktop they created for the utility of our Peckham project.

It was handmade in Birmingham using waste London Plane sourced from a tree felled in Euston.
