Working with both domestic and contract markets we are also able to offer a bespoke design service. We take great pride in our involvement in designing special fabrics for famous historic houses such as Buckingham Palace, Chatsworth, Holyrood Palace and Althorp. In addition, Marvic has a long history of supplying fabrics for prestigious, international 5-star hotels such as The Lanesborough, The Bristol, Peninsula Beverly Hills, Four Seasons Hotels and Ritz Carlton Hotels. We can reproduce historic designs or modify the colours or qualities of current Marvic designs to meet the particular specifications of a project. With all our operations under one roof, we are able to be flexible and react quickly to customer requirements.

“Autumnal garden tapestry” is the perfect moodboard to step into the new season. Curated by our Head of Design, Bridget.
“I love this hand-embroidered wool crewel featuring unusual machine embroidered edging that adds depth and richness to the traditional pattern. I’ve paired it with textured weaves, our new wool velvet and chenilles to bring warmth and I love to mix patterns including gingham check, our new damask and contemporary flamestitch to create an eclectic, characterful scheme.”

Following the success of Damask Orlando, we are delighted to expand the collection with three new colourways that pay homage to tradition while introducing a fresher, more contemporary palette.

Adapted from a seventeenth-century French archive document, Damask Orlando reinterprets a classical design with a refined, modern sensibility.

Here’s a new colourway of our classic Damask Orlando on the loom.
Damask Orlando is drawn from a 17th-century French archive; its raised, matt pattern contrasts with a luminous silk ground for a refined, contemporary feel.
