I’ve been spending a lot of time in the analogue world lately, getting lost in the "messy" side of collage—the cutting, the sticking, and the physical paint. But today, I’m heading back to my digital roots.
I find that my physical work serves as a massive inspiration for my digital creations; it gives the layers a different kind of life and a tactile soul that I then push even further with digital tools.
The idea for this piece stems from the current horrors we see happening around the world. It’s a digital homage to Guernica, a masterpiece born from similar tragedies in Spain during the 1930s. By drawing on the raw energy of Spanish Surrealism and Cubism, I wanted to translate those traditional influences into a modern, digital space.
I'm curious—for the creators out there, do you find your style shifts when you switch mediums, or does the "soul" of your work stay the same regardless of the tools?
