Golden Armour. Hand-dyed silk shirt.
A few years ago, deep in the Polish woodlands, I visited a healer. When I commented on his silk shirt and mentioned my work with textiles, he smiled and explained that it served as energetic armour during his healing sessions.
“Sometimes, strange spirits come with my clients,” he said.

Inspired by that story, we created the Armour Shirt — hand-dyed and printed with onion and black tea, ingredients long used in Polish households.

Made in London.
Each pattern is unique.

The dyeing itself takes several hours, allowing the fabric to absorb subtle earthy tones, sometimes revealing a delicate purple tint — a rare hue gifted by the oak. This natural alchemy is never exactly the same, with each pair carrying its own unique pattern and energy.

Across cultures, the oak tree is a symbol of resilience and connection to something greater — a grounding force and a bridge between the earthly and the divine. Each garment in this collection holds a quiet echo of that connection.

Since the leaves are gathered by hand and stored in limited batches, the colors and patterns will vary slightly with each piece. In spring, we often use leaves collected during the previous autumn — allowing the process to follow nature’s own cycle. 🌀
