Our team was recently hired to renovate and convert this Central London studio flat to a more functional and modern one-bedroom apartment.

Higher-end bathroom fittings and tiles were selected for the total refurbishment of the space, including an integrated storage space.

The work also involved partial re-wiring and upgrade to existing heating and plumbing services, a fitted kitchen from Howdens, engineered wooden flooring and overall decorating.

Completed at the end of 2024, this project involved work on a very old, run-down property, which had been unoccupied for many years prior and had lots of structural issues to solve before the installation of the new fittings.

We knocked down a load-bearing wall to create a larger open-plan kitchen-living room and more spacious double bedroom.

The flat was fully re-wired, new electric heating system fitted, walls were extensively treated against damp and structurally repaired, then plastered throughout.

New engineered flooring and skirting boards, new doors, custom-made joinery for the under-stairs space and a complete bathroom renovation were also elements of the project.

Painting and decorating included restoration of an old steel window frame in the living room and the use of multiple colour schemes for each room.

Fittings chosen by client for this project were mostly mid-range items and we assisted in the selection, procurement and management of all materials.

Due to the structural work involved, we also dealt with a structural engineer and Building Control officer and coordinated the work with all contractors and suppliers.

3-Bedroom Flat Renovation, Muswell Hill, N22
Completed at the end of 2023, this renovation included the modernization of a property after it had been rented out for many years. Our client was abroad for the majority of the time and hired us to take care of the management and delivery of all works. In this case, we needed to do a lot of wall and floor preparation and reinforcement. Many areas required complete stripping of the old plaster and building new partitions, or making good of large areas of ceilings or walls to stabilize them before plastering. Repairs were also needed after the complete re-wiring we did of the flat. The finishes included mainly the installation of a new Howdens kitchen, engineered wooden floors, solid doors and Victorian skirting boards, as well as decorating throughout.

One-Bedroom Flat Refurbishment, Old Street, N1
We took on this project at the start of 2023 - a compact apartment near Old Street, which wasn't touched for over 30 years. It needed a fresh look and complete replacement of all services - re-wiring, new plumbing, bathroom and kitchen renovation, new doors, floors and skirtings, total plastering and decorating. Our client was away during the works and delegated all works to our team, including the supply of needed materials and fittings, choosing everything with our help from a distance.

Two-Storey House Renovation, London, Islington, N1
This is a project we worked on at the end of 2022 and start of 2023, a full house renovation in an ex-Council estate in Islington. The property is over two floors and we installed a brand new heating system with water-based underfloor heating on both floors, added a bathroom downstairs and remodelled and extended the upstairs bathroom. A new fitted kitchen was installed, including some custom-made joinery. The house was also fully re-wired. Due to the bad condition of most of the walls (damp issues, cracks) we had to do additional plaster reinforcement work and a few internal partition walls were added. All areas were newly plastered and decorated. Final finishes included fitting, doors, skirting boards and custom-built cupboards. Our team was involved in the organization and management of all works from start to finish. We also assisted the client with dealing with the local Council and structural engineers.
