de Le Cuona

de Le Cuona de Le Cuona is renowned for the beauty and quality of its exquisitely understated natural fabrics responsibly crafted from the world’s finest natural fibres.

It was a love of linen and an attention to detail that first fired Bernie de Le Cuona’s desire to create beautiful fabrics. An adventurous spirit born out of Africa and a passion for discovery seeking out the best quality natural fibres and the finest artisans to work with. While travelling in Belgium, Bernie was introduced to linen and the beauty of this robust yet gentle fabric. The versatility

and ways linen can feel and be handled conquered her mind. The flax field amazed her, as the best flax was grown here. The next stop was India, where Bernie was inspired by the way Indian craftsmen produced silk – all weaving and finishing was done by hand. The attention to detail was incredible! She immediately thought that the softening technique can be applied to linen. With all the knowledge and inspiration from these trips Bernie established de Le Cuona with the passion to make linen fabrics that the world had never seen before – wonderfully floppy, soft and textured. These textures, complemented by the distinctive colour palette inspired by Africa, made de Le Cuona’s collections truly unique.

Texture and tone in harmony.

Cushions from the Signature Accessories 2026 collection take focus, where Strata Pampas, Cape Taupe, Nara Thistle and Elizabeth Paisley Cygnet create a layered interplay of fringe, panelled construction and woven pattern. Each piece brings its own character, united by the richness of natural fibres and handcrafted details.

A Petra Throw in Alabaster complements the arrangement, its diamond detailing and softly knotted fringe adding a quiet sense of structure and refinement.

These pieces sit within a bespoke setting, with a Savant sofa in Stonewashed Corduroy Cream providing a soft, neutral foundation that allows the textures and tones of the accessories to come forward.

In the background, Moya in Rice filters the light through a delicate sheer, while the scene is completed with the Cloud Coffee Table by , Anders Lampshade by and Everywhere White paint.

Light, texture and quiet contrast.

Here, Moya in Barley is shown has a curtain, its superfine wool sheer woven with silk creating a cloth that filters light softly while adding gentle movement to the room. The natural crêpe-like surface gives the fabric an effortless drape and understated elegance.

Alongside it, Shamba in Shiitake introduces deeper texture and tonal richness, grounding the scheme with its tactile weave, while Saba in Gecko from the wider de Le Cuona collection offers an additional layer of material depth.

Different expressions of the same material story.

Our new throws from the Signature Accessories collection explore
the many ways craftsmanship can be expressed through cloth, where
material, construction and finishing techniques define the character of
each piece.

The Elizabeth Throw with suede edging and soft fringe offers a
refined, tailored finish, while the Petra Throw in Rose City introduces
a more intricate expression through diamond detailing and textured
linen.

In contrast, the Warrior Cloth Throw reveals a more structured
approach, with panelled construction, cord detailing and a tactile
surface that speaks to process and making.

Together, they highlight the versatility of natural fibres and the many
ways craftsmanship can be expressed through cloth.

A composition led by texture and detail from our new Signature Accessories collection.

Cushions in Strata Ember and Vienna Cha Cha take centre stage, where layered fringe, soft structure and subtle movement bring depth and character to the setting.

They sit against bespoke pieces, including a Pioneer sofa in Chukka Gorilla and an ottoman in Cashmere Velvet Ruby, where considered upholstery and material contrast introduce warmth and richness.

A Fox Throw in Night adds a further layer, its fringe and leather detailing bringing softness and a tactile finish to the composition.

Behind, Cashmere Velvet in Quartz drapes the space with a soft, luminous finish, set against a wall painted in Blue John, creating an atmospheric backdrop.

A study in colour, curiosity and craft.

Our new Signature Accessories 2026 collection invites a closer look at the details that shape a space. Cushions and throws are elevated through handcrafted trims, nuanced textures and the quiet richness of natural fibres, where every element feels considered.

A palette of russet, madder and ochre is balanced with soft greys, ecru and taupe, creating a collection that brings warmth, depth and a sense of calm to interiors.

Designed to enhance both mood and material experience, each piece reflects the craftsmanship and attention to detail at the heart of de Le Cuona.

A stripe shaped by weave and finish.

Trail Stripe is woven in 100 per cent linen, where an irregular
arrangement of wide and narrower bands gives the cloth its
distinctive rhythm. The tight weave structure brings clarity to
the design, while the stonewashed finish introduces a softened
surface and relaxed handle.

Shown here in Ash, Olive, Charcoal and Truffle, each
colourway offers a different expression of the stripe, from
lighter, understated tones to deeper and more atmospheric
shades.

A fabric designed to bring structure, softness and quiet
character to both curtains and upholstery.

Stripes, considered in context.

Used thoughtfully, stripe has the ability to shape a space. It can
introduce structure, draw the eye or soften a room through
rhythm and repetition.

From upholstery to drapery, wide bands can anchor a scheme
while finer stripes bring a quieter sense of movement. The
versatility of stripe lies in its balance, both decorative and
architectural, expressive yet timeless.

A pattern that continues to evolve across interiors, guided by
material, scale and setting.
