When we redesigned this living room, I kept thinking about how the family would actually use it. We upholstered the backs of the club chairs in leather to give the room a little of that private club feeling, and designed the ottomans with central trays and cushion inserts so they could change depending on the evening.

I love that they can put their feet up, move things around and really settle into the room.

A new project to share. An elegant garden flat in a Grade II listed London terrace, and one where the architecture added so much to the scheme.

We designed these rooms whilst adding to the client’s art and design collection. The Jean Arp tapestry came first, first painted in the early 1900’s, then later woven at Ateliers Pinton; it’s one of five. Then came the Pierre Augustin Rose sofa, a pair of 1956 Frattini chairs, a Roger Capron table, and, in the bay, a beautiful Sebastian Cox table in London Plane.

Courchevel’s most glamorous decade, revisited.

Rosewood Le Jardin Alpin looks back to the resort’s 1960s, when skiing, style and social life all came together. Velvet, marble, copper, mirrors and Alpine timber throughout.

It reminded us of a chalet we worked on in Méribel. Exposed beams, timber and incredible mountain views, with art, vintage pieces and collectible design brought in around them.

A beautiful setting to work with, and a project we still think about often.
