Out of the shadows, she rises. 🕯️🌿

I am spellbound to finally share my latest pattern test for .of.needles : the Leśnica Scarf.

In the old tongue, she is the Forest Maiden, the Woodland Demon, a primal spirit woven into a triptych of sylvan designs. Alongside her siblings—Leszczyna (the Hazel) and Lesawik (the Forest Guardian)—she tells a story of the deep, untouched wild.

Look closely at her stitches. She is a tapestry of the ancient forest floor—an intricate map of winding branches, delicate leaves, and the succulent gleam of wild berries hidden in the dark.

I chose an ombre that mirrors the transformation of a pagan goddess: emerging from a midnight black, bleeding through earth-tones of chocolate and burgundy, until she erupts into a flaming, primal red. She is as much a guardian as she is a garment—mysterious, powerful, and alive.

🌲✨ Leśne Licho – Forest Imp Shawl ✨🌲
Polish name: Leśne Licho — the mischievous spirit whispering through the forest leaves. 🌿

I had the pleasure of testing this enchanting pattern for .of.needles, and now it’s finally out in the wild! 🍃

The body, worked in gentle moss stitch, feels like walking barefoot on damp forest moss — calm, grounding, ancient. The ornate Forest Imp border dances around it, wild and untamed, like a flicker of magic hiding between the trees. 🕯️

I added tiny glass beads, glinting like morning dew on moss — a delicate shimmer to honour the forest spirits. 💧✨

✨ Testers’ Pride ✨
I had the absolute pleasure of testing the beautiful Podaga Shawl 🌷🌞🍄❄️ — a design created by .handmade together with .prostu.nitka

The shawl is inspired by Mother Nature and the four seasons, and you can really feel that flow in the textures and transitions. Each section has its own character, but they melt into each other so harmoniously 💚

I loved every stitch of this project — from the delicate lace to the rich textured panels — and seeing the colors unfold was pure joy. The pattern is so versatile too: shawl, poncho, or square, with endless ways to combine the seasonal motifs.

📐 Mine came out to be 170cm wide and 85cm long, made with a gorgeous custom made cake by 🌈

✨🎆 New project fresh off my needles! 🎇✨

I had the joy of being one of the testers for the brand new Relax Top by 💙 It’s such a simple yet elegant design, perfect for summer evenings or layering when it gets cooler.

I knit mine with Drops Belle in the colour Petrol — light, breathable, and with just the right amount of drape. The pattern lives up to its name: relaxing to knit and so comfy to wear.

Big thanks to for the trust and the chance to test this pattern 🙏💫 It was a pleasure from start to finish.

Say hello to my new ! 💚 Knitted with love using the gorgeous pattern by and King Cole Footsie yarn in 'Cucumber' – I'm obsessed with the fresh, vibrant outcome!🥒

Full disclosure: I might have accidentally put one sock on inside out for a photo… but hey, that just proves how beautifully reversible this pattern is, right?! 😉 Seriously though, this pattern was an absolute dream to follow. So happy with how these turned out!

New Test Knit Reveal! 🦋🌙
Ta-da! 🎉 So thrilled to finally share my finished test knit of the incredible new pattern 'Papillon de Nuit' by the talented Włóczkowy chill ! ('Papillon de Nuit' means 'butterfly of the night' - a moth! Isn't that a cool name?)

While the pattern is originally for a stunning top, I couldn't resist transforming it into a dress! And I absolutely had to repeat that beautiful sleeve motif at the hem. It adds such a lovely detail to the bottom of the skirt 👗

And this yarn! 😍 It's from the limited edition ✨🧜🏻‍♀️Mermaizing🧜🏻‍♀️✨ Collection by . This is the 'Marina' colourway, and it was perfect for this project. Those blues and greys feel so magical and suit the moth theme perfectly.
