Installing the first panel of the mosaic artworks for the new SSM Health health center for Verona, WI designed by Kahler Slater .
The mosaic has been built using the paper-face reverse technique so the brown paper section you see above me has the mosaic hidden beneath it.
The installation is carried out with MAPEI USA polymer modified cement adhesive.

Setting out for the installation of five 6 ft x 9 ft (1.9m x 2.8m) mosaic panels for the new SSM Healthcare building in Verona, Wisconsin.
The mosaic panels are made from hand cut porcelain and glass carefully assembled in the studio to represent the wonderful outdoor activities around Verona. Each represented activity has been woven into the buildings way finding by the Kahler Slater design team.

• Bow Arts It’s confirmed – the Lakeside Centre Open Art Studios is set to be the best event in Thamesmead this September! That is if you come along and join us!

Visit the 38 artist studios inside the Lakeside Centre and explore their works in this annual celebration of creativity.

The artists will be leading free workshops throughout the day, inviting all ages to become artists in a range of family-friendly workshops, all materials provided.

Explore mountain landscapes through photography and painting in a collaborative exhibition, and admire conversations between plants and insects around the Lakeside Centre’s garden.

Take a break from the busy activities with a trip to the TheThamesmeadSocial café, who will be serving a special Lakeside sunset cocktail – bring one of our orange Open Art Studios flyers to receive 20% off food and drink!

The fun doesn’t end there! Explore performance through undiscovered lens from the day before at the Lakeside Centre’s Performance Evening, more information to be announced soon.

A lovely day with my daughter, Gina, helping to paint a new mural by artists Daisy Allen and Ellen Rose

The mural is a re-imagining and re-kindling of the spirit of my ‘Love Over Gold’ mural painted with Daisy’s mother Ruth in 1989. The original mural was recently demolished and the new mural is being painted on the nearby wall of Creekside Discovery Centre.
Never thought that nearly 40 years later we would be in a world where the gap between rich and poor has grown to such unbelievable levels.

The entire project has been an epic act of love and remembrance by Daisy for her late mother and most beautiful soul, Ruth ❤️
