Within the grounds of a turreted castle near Dublin, designer Suzie Mc Adam has transformed a former Victorian barn into a deeply atmospheric retreat - a harmonious blend of craftsmanship, history and comfort. In this softly pink ensuite, layers of tone and texture unfold with quiet restraint: honeyed oak floors, patterned textiles and antique furniture framing the sculptural silhouette of Drummonds’ Spittal shower. Crafted in solid brass with glass panels and cast-iron feet, it stands like an architectural centrepiece, marrying engineering precision with old-world romance. The result is a space that feels both intimate and grand - a celebration of British-made bathroom design where every detail, from the hand-cast fittings to the gentle patina of brass, speaks of artistry and enduring beauty.

Soft blush walls and veined marble establish a gentle, enveloping mood in this considered luxury bathroom scheme. The bespoke Thames vanity, carved from custom pink marble, reads as a refined console - its slender legs and hand-cast taps in antique brass introducing a quiet architectural rhythm against the softness of the palette. Above, a gilt mirror and pared-back wall lights lend a subtle decorative note, while the glass shower enclosure reveals a tapestry of honed marble tiles, their tonal variation adding depth and warmth. Every element speaks to material integrity and proportion, resulting in a bathroom design that feels composed, tactile and enduring.

Bathed in warm, honeyed light, this bathroom balances architectural simplicity with material richness. Walls of tumbled limestone create a soft, enveloping backdrop, their subtle tonal variation bringing depth and texture to the space without distraction.

At its centre, the Newton bath introduces a sculptural presence. Defined by clean lines and a gently tapered silhouette, the cast-iron bath is elevated on oversized bun feet - a distinctive detail that lends the design both character and unexpected lightness. Paired with polished nickel brassware, the composition balances traditional references with a refined simplicity. The result is a space that feels calm and enduring, shaped by thoughtful design, natural materials and expert craftsmanship.

Bathed in warm, coastal light, this bathroom is shaped by a careful interplay of curve, texture and proportion. A softly arched oak backdrop frames the vanity, its warm timber tones complementing the sun-washed plaster walls and lending depth and definition to the space.

Set against this restrained palette, the Hudson taps in brushed brass introduce a refined architectural presence. Designed in collaboration with Pembrooke & Ives, their distinctive lever handles balance crisp geometry with softened edges, bringing both precision and tactility to the composition. As the brass develops a natural patina over time, it will settle further into the scheme, reinforcing a space defined by craftsmanship, material richness and considered bathroom design.

Defined by texture, tone and restraint, this shower space demonstrates the quiet confidence of considered design. Warm timber flooring and softly veined stone create a layered, natural palette, while the herringbone mosaic introduces a subtle sense of movement across the walls. Light shifts gently across the surfaces throughout the day, revealing the richness of the materials and the craftsmanship behind them.
At its centre, the new Hudson shower controls in polished nickel bring a crisp architectural presence. Designed in collaboration with Pembrooke & Ives, Hudson balances sculptural form with thoughtful detailing, its refined proportions sitting comfortably within the room’s calm, tactile atmosphere. The result is a luxury shower design that feels both contemporary and enduring - rooted in materiality, craftsmanship and ease.

Set against a rhythmic backdrop of striped stone, this bathroom balances clarity of form with a strong sense of material presence. The Stour freestanding bath sits low and grounded on rounded bun feet, its softened silhouette lending weight without heaviness. Painted in a deep green, it draws out the tonal variation within the marble, where bands of olive and limestone move gently across the walls and floor.
The Chessleton bath mixer introduces a precise, architectural note in polished nickel, its proportions carefully resolved against the bath’s curved profile. Together, the elements create a space defined by contrast and cohesion - where colour, texture and craftsmanship are held in quiet alignment.

Set within a reimagined Cotswolds farmhouse, this bathroom is conceived as a quiet dialogue between architecture and landscape. A dramatic glazed gable frames the woodland beyond, drawing shifting light deep into the room and creating the sensation of bathing within the trees themselves. Beneath the soaring pitch of the ceiling, the polished Tay bath sits with sculptural clarity, its generous proportions softened by the surrounding stillness and the delicate floral chandelier suspended above.

Polished nickel brassware introduces a subtle brightness against the restrained palette, while the pared-back materiality allows the changing seasons outside to become part of the atmosphere within. The result is a space that feels both expansive and deeply restorative - shaped as much by view and light as by craftsmanship and proportion.

Set within the rolling English countryside, Kate Moss’s bathroom balances quiet grandeur with a deeply personal sense of character. Softly painted walls, worn timber floors and a scattering of collected artworks lend the space an ease that feels instinctive - a composition shaped as much by atmosphere and memory as by design itself. At its centre, the Double Lowther vanity in richly veined Verde Guatemala marble introduces a striking depth of colour, its sculptural surface offset by unlacquered brass Mull taps that will continue to soften and patinate over time.

Wrapped in a rhythmic, fern-like wallpaper, this compact bathroom is shaped by pattern, colour and a confident sense of composition. The Bourne wall-mounted basin sits lightly within the scheme, its crisp form offset by the warmth of Mull taps in unlacquered brass - a living finish that will deepen and soften with use.

Nearby, the Eden WC introduces a more traditional note, its exposed cistern reinforcing the room’s verticality and architectural character. The exposed pipework adds a sense of functional honesty. It is a space where heritage references and material tactility come together in a quietly resolved, characterful bathroom design.

Bathed in soft natural light, this Georgian country house bathroom reflects the measured elegance of Palladian-style design. The polished cast-iron Wye bath sits gracefully beneath a crystal chandelier, its reflective silhouette bringing a sculptural note to the room’s traditional panelling and warm parquet floor. Thoughtfully detailed chrome brassware elevates the bath’s handcrafted form, introducing a subtle glimmer that complements the calm, neutral scheme. A harmonious study in heritage architecture and luxury bathroom design, the space feels both restorative and deeply connected to the character of this historic home.
