Within the grounds of a turreted castle near Dublin, designer Suzie Mc Adam has transformed a former Victorian barn into a deeply atmospheric retreat - a harmonious blend of craftsmanship, history and comfort. In this softly pink ensuite, layers of tone and texture unfold with quiet restraint: honeyed oak floors, patterned textiles and antique furniture framing the sculptural silhouette of Drummonds’ Spittal shower. Crafted in solid brass with glass panels and cast-iron feet, it stands like an architectural centrepiece, marrying engineering precision with old-world romance. The result is a space that feels both intimate and grand - a celebration of British-made bathroom design where every detail, from the hand-cast fittings to the gentle patina of brass, speaks of artistry and enduring beauty.
