Once a year I get the privilege of walking through Charterhouse, in the City of London to install flowers for the Ironmongers' Company. An early start and a quiet walk through an incredibly historic place.

The chapel traces it's roots back to 1348 when, in its original guise, it was a small place of worship to remember the plague victims who were buried near by. Later becoming a Carthusian monastery and surviving the reformation of Henry VIII.

I love that everyday I get to work in the City of London and experience the fantastic layers of history. I will never tire of this!

Still feeling the luckiest florist as we got to work with such a wonderful couple a few weeks back.

You cannot go wrong when Queens House RMGVenues is your venue of choice and it is always a happy dance week when we get to go here and sprinkle a bit of floral joy

A beautiful soft summer pallete of lemon, cream, whites and blues made this one memorable for us.

Where did May go?! ....we blinked and 💥....it went by in a whizz of perfect florals.

We had the honour of creating these beauts for our wonderful wedding couple at the beginning of the month.

They chose the classical, historic Queens House for their fun fulfilled reception whilst All Saints Church, Blackheath presided over the vows.

We are feeling Hot, Hot, Hot!!

Temp in the workroom has reached 36 degrees. The flowers are wonderfully fresh and cool in our specialist cooler, however the team are feeling the heat.

For the remainder of the week, up to and including Saturday 30th May, we will be opening at the following adjusted times:

7.30am until 4pm

I had the best time creating the florals for this beautiful city wedding last week. Country abundance in all its glory.

The historic St Michael, Cornhill was the best backdrop. British foliage was used throughout, along with jasmine, viburnum, 'secret garden' 'playa blanca' and 'wedding day' roses, scented British stocks, delphinium, peonies, hydrangea, oxypetalum and larkspur.

Smart buttonholes of 'snowstorm' roses and pale blue oxypetalum were crafted for the Groom and Groomsmen.

Creating the florals whilst the organist rehearsed in a closed church is always special, I just get lost enjoying the flowers and trying to create a little extra magic for the couple. Eye is always on the time though....one can't get too lost 🙈

You've nearly made it.....4 day weekend beckons 💃

Your Easter is not complete without some fresh flowers or a cute little pot plant to sit alongside all that chocolate!

Lots of pretty fresh bunches for that perfect grab and go.

We are open today until 5pm.....and then we are back on Tuesday 7th with gorgeous fresh stock.
