What a ride the past year has been — somewhere between a Taylor Swift Eras Tour high and a late-night Stardew Valley session!

I’m beyond thrilled to share that studioBijouu just hit 300 sales on Etsy over the weekend! I know, I know — it might not sound earth-shattering in internet terms, but to me, it’s a milestone that feels HUGE.

When we first launched this little art shop, the goal was simple: one sale a day. Something small, sustainable, and soulful. Fast forward to now? We’re averaging two sales a day, having the sweetest convos with customers, and even gaining repeat buyers (cue the happy dance — and if you’ve ever run your own biz, you know that’s the real gold star ⭐).

Here’s to more growth, more creativity, and more art magic in the year ahead. Thank you for being here. We’re just getting started.

I think I am going to do a little collection of Midwesterner phrases! Being an Iowa girl...I think I know them all. I was inspired by vintage horse racing posters for this illustration, they were exceptional at color and font choice. It's so inspiring to look to the past for ideas 🥸

Just a few items away from hitting 200 designs in our shop!!!

The truth is, I really enjoy drawing, so it doesn't feel like it's been a huge task to get to 200. BUT 200 is a huge number, and I am so proud of our new little shop!

I am currently getting a lot of inspiration from drawing animals, and playing with typography! 😁
