Sometimes it’s the smallest details that define the atmosphere of a space.

For Crossharbour, I spent a lot of time refining the material palette before even thinking about the final renders. The deep blue feature wall, warm walnut flooring, natural marble, fluted glass and soft fabrics were all chosen to work together rather than stand out individually.

These are some of my favourite close-up views from the project—small moments that often go unnoticed, but that ultimately shape the character of an interior.

A volte sono proprio i dettagli più piccoli a definire l’atmosfera di uno spazio.

Per Crossharbour ho dedicato molto tempo alla scelta dei materiali prima ancora di arrivare ai render finali. La parete blu, il legno caldo del pavimento, il marmo naturale, il vetro cannettato e i tessuti morbidi sono stati selezionati per dialogare tra loro, senza che nessun elemento prevalesse sugli altri.

Questi sono alcuni dei dettagli che preferisco del progetto: piccoli frammenti che spesso passano inosservati, ma che alla fine costruiscono l’identità di un ambiente.

Happy to share one of my favourite projects I’ve worked on over the past few years: Crossharbour.

This was also the apartment I called home for almost two years in London, which makes this project even more meaningful to me.

Looking back, not everything was built exactly as it appeared in the renders, but that’s part of the process. What I’m most proud of are the countless hours spent studying materials, proportions and details to create a space with a clear identity.

It’s a small milestone, but also the first interior project I’m sharing from my time in London. Looking forward to sharing many more.

Sono felice di condividere uno dei progetti a cui sono più affezionato tra quelli realizzati negli ultimi anni: Crossharbour.

Questa è stata anche la casa in cui ho vissuto per quasi due anni a Londra, e questo rende il progetto ancora più significativo per me.

Guardandolo oggi, non tutto è stato realizzato esattamente come nei render, ma fa parte del processo. Ciò di cui vado più fiero sono le tante ore dedicate allo studio dei materiali, delle proporzioni e dei dettagli, per dare allo spazio un’identità precisa.

Può sembrare un piccolo traguardo, ma è anche il primo progetto di interior design che condivido del mio percorso a Londra. Spero sia solo il primo di tanti.

Hillside Home | Living Atmosphere

Architecture is often perceived through its materials, but what truly brings a space to life is movement.

Morning light filters through the curtains, soft shadows stretch across the floor, and every element finds its place within a calm, balanced composition. The statement wallpaper becomes the focal point, while the sculptural pendants, black steel details and warm neutral palette create a quiet dialogue throughout the living area.

Rather than filling the space, the design allows light, texture and proportion to become the real decoration.

L’architettura non è fatta soltanto di materiali, ma soprattutto di luce, atmosfera e movimento.

La luce del mattino attraversa le tende, le ombre disegnano lo spazio e ogni elemento contribuisce a creare un ambiente equilibrato e senza tempo. La carta da parati diventa il punto focale della zona pranzo, mentre i dettagli in nero, le lampade scultoree e la palette di toni caldi costruiscono un linguaggio coerente in tutto il living.

Più che aggiungere oggetti, il progetto lascia che siano la luce, le texture e le proporzioni a definire l’identità dello spazio.

Hillside Home | Kitchen Details

A kitchen isn’t defined only by cabinetry or materials, but by the dialogue between every detail.

Here, warm walnut, natural stone and soft neutral tones are balanced by carefully placed black accents. The tap, sink, oven and lighting create a subtle visual rhythm, giving the space depth and continuity without overwhelming its calm atmosphere.

Designed with a Scavolini kitchen, the space becomes part of a wider architectural language where every element is carefully chosen to belong.

Hillside Home | Dettagli della cucina

Una cucina non è definita solo dai mobili o dai materiali, ma dal dialogo tra ogni singolo dettaglio.

In questo progetto, il calore del noce, della pietra naturale e delle tonalità neutre è bilanciato da dettagli neri inseriti con discrezione. Rubinetteria, lavello, forno e illuminazione creano un ritmo visivo che dona profondità e continuità, senza alterare l’atmosfera calma ed essenziale dello spazio.

La cucina, realizzata con Scavolini, diventa parte di un linguaggio architettonico più ampio, dove ogni elemento è stato scelto per dialogare con gli altri.

HILLSIDE HOME

Every home has a story shaped by the people who live in it.

Hillside Home is a townhouse renovation in Moncalieri, where I followed the project from the architectural planning stage through to the interior design decisions. Alongside preparing and managing the planning application, I worked closely with the homeowners to define the atmosphere of each space, helping them select furniture, materials, colours, lighting and finishes.

Rather than focusing on trends, the aim was to create a timeless home where architecture and interiors feel naturally connected. Every design decision was made to balance functionality, warmth and simplicity, resulting in spaces that feel both refined and comfortable.

Architecture and interior guidance developed as one continuous process, turning a typical townhouse into a home tailored to the people who live there.

C’è chi vede un tavolo.

Noi vediamo il luogo in cui inizieranno le giornate, nasceranno conversazioni e verranno condivisi momenti.

La progettazione non riguarda solo mobili e materiali.
Riguarda le emozioni che uno spazio saprà trasmettere ogni giorno.

A volte la magia non è ciò che fluttua nell’aria.
È riuscire a immaginare una casa prima ancora che esista.

I don’t use magic to make objects float.

I use it to visualize something we can’t normally see.

Balance.
Visual weight.
Harmony.

Great interiors aren’t made of expensive furniture.
They’re made of hundreds of small choices that work together.

When that happens, the room almost feels weightless.

That’s what I try to design.
