Autumn is nearly at its end here in Seoul, and the temperatures are dropping ๐Ÿฅถ. This classic Minhwa set reminds me of the vibrant autumn colors ๐Ÿ.

Iโ€™m slowly building up the second layer of color on this series - each bowl carrying a blessing for family: nourishment, longevity, joyful children, and a harmonious future. Together they create a symbolic family portrait. Love how traditional art has such deep-rooted meaning.โœจ๐Ÿƒ

As this Chuseok (โ€˜Korean Thanksgivingโ€™)week arrives, I feel so thankful for this journey of learning a new culture and the traditional art form of Minhwa. ๐ŸŒธ The process of painting the lotus (โ€˜Yeonhwa โ€˜), new art project, is teaching me not just technique, but also the deep meanings behind the art. Immensely grateful to my teacher for guiding me with wisdom and kindness. ๐Ÿ™ This experience is making my time in Seoul truly unforgettable. ๐Ÿ‚โœจ
