Another old favourite with this rainbow of glass and mirror in a magnificent mushroom!

I’ve made a few of these in rainbow colours now, cut to shape in my design, getting the colour blend right, making sure there’s enough room for all the colours to fit, plus the usual labour of cutting and fitting all the glass pieces by hand.

I’ve been doing this a long time now, so I can work pretty fast and it still takes a lot of hours, but the end result makes it all worth it. 😊

Still the largest sculpture I’ve made, but this year I’m going big.

The studio’s been rearranged to give me more workspace, and I’m all geared up for this year’s gardening season.

This two metre piece was a feat of engineering for stability, with as much decoration as I could add in. The still photo is in the garden of the person it was gifted to, she’s partially sighted, so they wanted the headpiece to be at eye level for her to make it easier for her to look at. We were all thrilled with the end result. ❤️

In honour of this week’s amazing eclipse (did you see it?), and of course because someone ordered it, here’s another moonscape.

15cm diameter, with a mix of stained glass and mosaic glass, a full moon rising is one of my favourite things in nature. As always, the glass is hand cut and the stained glass has been silvered to bring out those luscious colours and textures.

Every piece is unique, the moon and clouds are the only constant in the design, but the glass and cloud shapes are different every time too. This one has a decorated edge, made from blue, green, purple and iridescent black hand cut mosaic glass to complement the design.

It’s my quiet time of year, so I’ll be taking a short break.

It’s early in the morning, the sun hasn’t even hit it yet and it still sparkles.

Large statement mosaic sculpture in blue, green and purple with three stained glass portholes and mirror accents.

The portholes allow coloured light to pass through with all the beauty that stained glass brings, and the mirror pieces sparkle and bounce light around the garden, both as part of the design and for added reflection on the edges.

Reinforced with integrated steel stakes that allow you to place it in your borders, a raised bed or even a large pot.

This beaut’s the only piece this size for sale at the moment, and three people have it in their basket, so if you love it, don’t wait.
